INCIDENTAL PICTURES

We are production company specialising in feature films and TV dramas, run by Scottish BAFTA-winning filmmaker Zam Salim.

Zam has received multiple awards for his shorts, commercials, and documentaries, and had numerous retrospectives of his work.

His debut feature UP THERE won Best Director and Best Feature at the British Academy Awards Scotland, and also won - amongst other prizes - top honours at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (USA)

He's a BAFTA BREAKTHROUGH BRIT winner, Screen STAR OF TOMORROW and ONE TO WATCH by Moviescope magazine.

As a director he has worked on a number of television projects including ENDEAVOUR for ITV/ Mammoth, and the original THE BREAK series for the BBC. As a writer he has been commissioned by the BBC, BFI, Screen Scotland, and most recently, Channel 4.

As a producer he has a number of film and TV projects in development including a co-production with Hilary Salmon and The Lighthouse (Netflix’s Emmy Nominated SCOOP) and with Early Day Films (BAFTA winning BAIT).

He is represented by Michelle Archer at United Agents.
